Design For The Table, By The People

UnderStory worked again with our friends at For The Table Hospitality to design the brand and identity for new restaurant and brew hub Township. With beers served in steins and unique twists on urban street fare, our design direction focused on a municipal concept guided by the mantra “For The Table, By The People.” We aimed for a train station meets town hall design style – infusing equal parts vintage and modern.

Your Ticket to Township

The Township beer and food menus were inspired by a train station design style. Servers invite patrons to experience the restaurant when they hand anyone a menu. With this in mind, the trifold menus collapse to mimic large tickets when fully folded.

Supporting Brand Design

Anchored by the mantra “For The Table, By The People”, we designed (and continue to create) several brand graphics for use during events, on products, on apparel, and within the Township restaurant space.

TWP Digital Hub

To extend the new brand online, UnderStory designed and programmed TownshipTLH.com. The new website features an ecommerce system for purchasing event tickets and goods. Visitors can also register for events and vote for their favorite beer to feature on The People’s Tap.

Signage, Steins, & Shirts

UnderStory helped with large installation design concepts and signage during building construction. The different areas of the large space are marked with wayfinding signage for ordering and seating. Our partnership continues with ongoing design and branding with goods such as steins and shirt designs.
